Description Subrogation claims specialist needed for a growing department, located in Lombard, Illinois, United States. The Subrogation Claims Specialist is responsible for collecting subrogation dollars back from other responsible entities. This position requires excellent customer service skills along with efficient time management, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced friendly environment. + Identify and evaluate claims eligible for subrogation by determining the liability of third parties. + Pursue subrogation claims through direct negotiations, arbitration, or litigation, as applicable. + Partner with insurance companies, attorneys, and other representatives to maximize recovery efforts. + Stakeholder Collaboration: + Coordinate with internal departments, including claims, legal, and transportation operations, to gather necessary information and ensure a unified approach. + Maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, adjusters, attorneys, and other relevant parties. Requirements Subrogation Claims Specialist should have: • Experience in Claim Administration and management. • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in Claims Processing, including investigation, evaluation, and negotiation. • Experience in handling Subrogation Claims.
