Schedule: Friday thru Tuesday. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Substance Abuse Technician assists clients from admission through discharge providing client support through the extended substance and mental health treatment process. The Substance Abuse Technician supervises client's behavior and manage client crisis situations when they arise. The Substance Abuse Technician will serve substance abuse clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Education and Qualifications: + Registration or Certification with Drug and Alcohol Certification recognized by ADP. + 1 year or more experience working with Substance Abuse clients + First Aid and CPR Certified within 30 days of employment. + A valid California driver’s license. + High School diploma or equivalent. Desired Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a relevant field, or 5 years of related experience. + Experience working in a residential setting.
