**Coordinator, Substance Use Disorder**
**Location:** Glens Falls, NY - 12801
**Employment Type:** Direct-Hire, Permanent
**Setting:** Hospital
**Pay:** $30-$45 per hour
**Shift:** 8am-4:30pm
**Qualifications:**
- Social Work Degree (MSW or BSW).
- Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW) preferred.
- 2 years experience in mental health field.
- Working knowledge of mental health, substance use, and NY community system.
- Knowledge of State Opioid Response Initiative.
- Driver's License.
**Key Duties:**
- Review and respond to SUD consultation requests from hospital departments, completing bedside Screening Brief Intervention Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) consultations.
- Utilize community resources to effectively connect individuals, including children and families, to age-appropriate services.
- Monitor and follow the progress of individuals connecting to services, reporting on outcomes and any changes in their situation.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of substance abuse issues, psychiatric disorders, and intervention strategies, maintaining a high level of clinical accountability.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to teamwork while embracing change and seeking continuous improvement in services.
