Our Power Delivery group is seeking Substation Engineers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate and contribute toward complex projects in both a design and project capacity while working on challenging and exciting low to high voltage substation engineering projects. Responsibilities

A day in this role means diving into the heart of cutting-edge electrical design, where you’ll craft detailed substation layouts, solve complex design challenges, and collaborate with a team of experts to bring critical infrastructure to life. Develop electric substation drawings, including single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and physical drawings, such as plan views, elevation views, control panel layouts, control building layoutsMay perform substation design calculations and analysis such as ground grid analysis and design, lightning protection, voltage drop, DC battery, and AC station service sizing, CT saturation, protection, and coordinationWork closely with the electrical analysis group to determine protective relaying settingsDevelop technical equipment and construction specifications and work scopesWork closely with peers to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of electrical designs that will meet client and industry standards and specifications while ensuring good engineering practicesProvide on-site technical support for select ENERCON clients during construction and commissioning as required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityMinimum of 3 years of experience in engineering and design specific to the substation field with a consulting/engineering firmExperience with Microstation and AutoCADProficient with typical office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and WindowsMust be self-driven to organize time to follow schedules, meet deadlines, and provide accurate deliverablesMust be willing to learn new skills on the job with assistance from the Senior Engineer, Supervisor, and others in the department

Salary Range

The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
