Substation Engineer
Job Title: Substation Engineer

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing substation engineering for mid to large-scale substation projects. You should have experience supporting EPC construction projects and a clear understanding of how to use AutoCAD and Microstation. You will be working with voltages higher than 138kV when designing your projects. Qualified candidates should have at least 4+ years of substation experience.

ResponsibilitiesProvide substation engineering for mid to large-scale projects.Support EPC construction projects.Utilize AutoCAD and Microstation for project designs.Work with voltages higher than 138kV in design projects.Essential Skills4+ years of Substation Engineering experience4+ years of experience supporting high voltage electrical projects (138kV+)Experience with Physical or P&C engineering (Physical preferred)Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with voltages up to 765kV is a plusConstruction experience is a plusUnderstanding of power delivery and utilities coordinationProficiency in Microstation and AutoCADKnowledge of high voltage electrical systems, including 138kV, 269kV, and 500kVWork Environment

This position is based in an office setting with standard hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The company offers 30 work-from-home days and a 9/80 schedule. Benefits include an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
