About the position:
Under direct supervision switching substations, generating substations, and other electric delivery equipment and facilities found on the transmission, distribution, or underground systems
Under general supervision perform the following duties:

Grounding Switching Operations Operate all equipment such as aerial lifts, boom trucks, fork trucks, and articulating lifts
Job Qualifications:
Must have a NYS CDL Class A (restricted) or ability to obtain one within six months Must be able to perform strenuous work including work at elevated heights and confined spaces. Must pass physical abilities examination. Must pass validated aptitude test. Must have a valid driver license Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Accredited Postings:
Must possess, as determined solely by management, a two-year degree or certificate in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or Electric Construction/Maintenance from an accredited college or university or equivalent electrical apprenticeship or journeyman certificate program as determined by management. (Degree has to be completed at time of application)Salary:
