District located in Winchester, VA Position: Substitute Special Education Teacher | Full Time Start Date: 1/6/25 Length: Remainder of 24/25 SY Shift: M-F | 37.5 hr/wk | Full time Classroom Openings/setting: - All grade levels available (High, Middle and Elementary School). Will interview based on candidates preference. Additional Details: • Self-contained “Level 2” students • At least 1 para will be present in the classroom to assist with feeding/diapering/toileting • 8-10 students in the classroom • 5+ years of special education teaching experience is highly preferred • All have very unique needs as they are the most vulnerable • MUST be comfortable with mod-severe intellectual disabilities and autism Requirements/Credentials: Previous experience as a teacher W2 position employee with Amergis Staffing (Not the district), you will only be expected to work hours assigned on the contract.
