SUD Supervisor (Corrections) - LCDC III / LSW

Position Summary:

Supervises the SUD operational and clinical activities of staff involved in performing internal operations in the program.  Plans, supervises, and implements procedures to ensure strong program performance while overseeing outcomes for staff and clients.

Position Description:

Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operational functions of the site/location in accordance with the contract, licensing, certification, accreditation and agency standardsMaintain site/location effectively while adhering to regulatory guidelines and ensuring safety, security and overall complianceEnsure fidelity to approved clinical models and supervise staff accordinglyPerform case review and clinical oversight within scope of licensePlan for necessary staff coverage, inventory and maintenance to ensure smooth operations and meeting of deadlines/goalsMay assist with budget development and ensure operation within budgetMaintain program and client workflow and delegate effectivelyEnsure quality clinical documentation utilizing agency electronic health recordAssist in enhancing collaboration and cooperation between service lines to ensure service integrationDirect and supervise personnel by ensuring training needs are met and supervision occursAssure compliance with: site audits, peer reviews and agency Continuous Quality Improvement initiativesGenerate outcome data and use for improvementMonitor key indicators that impact financial outcome and performanceFollow protocols in responding to, reporting and resolving unusual incidentsMitigate risk using intervention skills and anticipate/prevent crisisRespond to and perform work as necessary to ensure site/location deadlines and operational goals are metWill participate in the hiring process of all reporting staffOther duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based models in specific area of expertiseAbility to interface with internal and external customersAbility to resolve conflict in an open, effective and timely mannerSkill in fostering teamwork and a positive work environmentAbility to maintain and ensure appropriate boundaries with staff and clientsExcellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-taskSkill in providing supervision, coaching and development to staff

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Social Sciences or related area or;Equivalent education/work experienceDependent clinical license or higher (social work, chemical dependency, nursing, etc.) or 4 years experience specific to area of focusValid drivers license and current auto insurance

Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Occasional standing and walking. Constant sitting.Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking and listening.
