Job Title: SUE Technician Job Description: We are seeking a skilled SUE Technician to work on various projects across Texas, primarily around the DFW area. This role involves extensive fieldwork on transportation and municipal projects, focusing on locating and designating utilities such as water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecom. Responsibilities: + Locate and designate utilities including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecom. + Perform fieldwork on transportation and municipal projects. + Accurately locate utilities like air, water, and pressure systems. + Interpret blueprints. + Operate a Vac Master. + Focus on designating telecom utilities. Skills and Qualifications: + 2+ years of utility locating and designating experience. + Experience in the subsurface utilities engineering (SUE) industry. + Proficiency in telecom utility designating. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Telecom experience highly preferred. Work Environment: + Outdoor work with travel to Houston, El Paso, and other areas in Texas. + Comfortable with overtime; average workweek is 45-50 hours, occasionally up to 50-60 hours. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
