POSITION: Suite Attendant          

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Premium Services Manager

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Suite Attendant for ASM Global/Sames Auto Arena. Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of suites and assisting guests in accordance with ASM Global's Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suiteVerify and set-up all pre-game/event ordersIdentify suite host and properly introduce yourselfTake and place game day food and beverage ordersSet-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the eventReplenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils as neededMaintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the eventObtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely mannerClear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suiteReset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience        

Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position requiredPrevious supervisory experience preferredMust be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check

Skills and Abilities

Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service StandardsAbility to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service trainingKnowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with staff and to prepare event plansStrong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan aheadHighly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment

Other Qualifications 

Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyaltyMust follow all ASM Global and SAVOR policies and proceduresMust be present for all major events at the Arena
