THE ROLE   

The Suite Porter is responsible for setting up all aspects of each suite based on the individual order. This includes ensuring all equipment and smallwares are set up and arranged as per company standards. Attention to detail is a must.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Review suite contracts Suites setup for pre-order menu Lifting/setup of equipment/vessels/smallwares Delivery of pre-order beverages Polish chafers and any other relevant equipment Ensure dishwashers were turned on and working. Report to manager if not Ensure sufficient quantity of glassware, china, and cutlery Any other duties as assigned by Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

Smart Serve certification Completion of high school diploma or in process Solid organization skills and understanding of multi tasking/time management skills Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and early mornings/afternoons Must be able to work independently Team player and ability to work with diverse groups Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate potential challenges with set-ups are essential WORKING CONDITIONS
