Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $17.50 to $19.10+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) are also available.
Job Summary:
Seasonal, full-time position. Days will vary to include weekends and holidays. Average 28-38 hours per week, depending on the day of the week, the activity and the weather.
Daily duties will include the inspection and operation of Lifts, Quad Power Bungee Jump, Go Karts, Coaster and Wreck Tangle. Operators will be trained to work all activities.
The set-up and inspection of each activity (Lifts, Bungee Jump, Go Kart, Wreck Tangle, & Rocky Mountain Coaster, Zip Line, Scenic Chair Ride, Bumper Boats, Super Tube Carpet, Coaster Cart) each morning. Elevate each guest’s experience by providing extensive interaction in the safe and enjoyable use of each activity. Strict ticket security and scanning at all activities. Outgoing demeanor, teamwork and the highest safety consciousness required. To understand and promote Copper’s products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively direct the proper and efficient loading & unloading of guests. This is accomplished through communication, awareness, and decision making.
Execute the daily pre-operational inspection of lift machinery in order to complete a legal lift log document. Any irregularities you cannot correct should be reported to lift maintenance and the log is then filed for future reference.
Execute daily pre-operational inspection of bungee machinery and equipment.
Instruct guest on guidelines and proper technique for bungee apparatus.
Execute daily pre-operational inspection of go kart machinery and equipment.
Instruct guests on guidelines and proper use for go kart machinery.
Execute daily pre-operational inspection of Wreck Tangle apparatus.
Instruct guests on guidelines and proper use for Wreck Tangle apparatus.
Execute daily pre-operational inspection of Coaster carts & track.
Instruct guests on guidelines and proper use for Coaster apparatus.
Foster excellent guest relations through positive interaction and animation with guests each time they load the lift or participate in an activity to ensure their return visit.
Knowledgeably and efficiently administer emergency procedures such as lift breakdown, evacuation, fire, and accident reporting.
Successfully cope with the physical and mental demands of the job requirements such as adverse weather conditions, lifting, and the constant flow of interactions with the guests.
Know and understand the products, services and events available and actively promote them.

Basic Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand outside in the sun/rain for extended periods of time.
Must be willing to work 5 days/week, weekends and holidays included.
Must be willing to work as early as 4:00AM and as late as midnight while ensuring excellent service standards with our guests.
Must be fluent in English to read, write and speak.
Mandatory training and passing a written test required.
Must comply with Copper’s grooming standards.
Must desire an outdoor job that requires manual labor.
Must follow strict safety guidelines in the inspection and operation of all activity machinery.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to recognize and respond to audible signals (i.e. telephones, beeper system and guest questions).
Preferred Experience and Special Skills:
Proven track record of outstanding attendance and punctuality.
Previous outstanding guest service demonstrated through a friendly, animated approach.
Outstanding verbal skills to deliver safety briefings and instructions to insure a safe and satisfying experience.
A high level of safety consciousness and the ability to follow established safety protocols and procedures.
