This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. What It’s Like 

The broadband strategy & planning team is the glue that keeps broadband together and helps us achieve our near-mid-and-long-term growth aspirations. By having an end-to-end viewpoint of the organization, we are able to partner with stakeholders across broadband and T-Mobile to advise decision-making, drive efficiencies, and identify and execute organic and inorganic growth opportunities. We approach problems with a bias for action and business outcomes, while keeping our focus towards setting broadband up for long-term success. What You’ll Do 

We are looking for a driven self-starter with an analytical and strategic mindset who wants to learn what it’s like to think like a business owner. You’ll be responsible for putting together competitive analysis, evaluating pricing constructs and putting together business cases, and helping to evaluate inorganic growth opportunities (including but not limited to partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A opportunities). You will influence senior-leader decision-making and the future of the broadband organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Provide strong support to the broadband strategy team on a multitude of projects, using data-driven insights and storytelling  

Construct executive-level presentations and present complex storylines in a clear, concise, and business-outcome-oriented manner 

Own a business problem end-to-end (with support and mentorship) and present recommendations to the Broadband senior leadership team 

 

 

What It Takes 

Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in a business field (business administration, finance, economics) or MBA; relevant work, or club experience is also acceptable 

Strong skills in Excel, and PowerPoint preferred; familiarity with deck-building or financial modeling is a plus 

Ability to communicate analytical, quantitative, and qualitative topics clearly across audience types (peers, non-executives, executives, and senior executives) 

Excellent prioritization skills, self-motivation and the capacity to work under tight deadlines  

Willingness to learn and develop analytical and strategic skills in a fast growing and dynamic business  

Ability to approach problems in a structured, calculated way – regardless of complexity or size 

 

Minimum Qualifications  

At least 18 years of age  

Legally authorized to work in the United States  

Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR  be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program 

Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships 

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. 

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. 

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
