Summer 2025 Corporate Strategy Graduate Internship
**Company :** Highmark Health **Job Description :** The Highmark Enterprise Strategy & Transformation Office is currently in the middle of developing our next 5-year corporate strategy (2030) to be shared with our Board of Directors in October 2025. In addition, the Strategy & Transformation Office is in parallel leading a 5-year plan for our provider system, Allegheny Health Network. These strategies will shape the future of our company as an industry leader. The Strategy Office also supports the development of 3-year strategic planning process across the various business units, health plan, and diversified businesses of the entire enterprise. There are myriad of strategies that are on-going at any given time within the Strategy Office and may vary on size and scope. We utilize rigorous problem-solving methodologies and business frameworks and these strategies are developed in conjunction with Senior Leaders from across the Enterprise. The learning opportunities are extremely valuable to Graduate Interns who are considering healthcare careers. **SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** This job has the goal of providing the opportunity to acquire practical experience through direct exposure to the related business line(s) and to develop the next generation of diverse business professionals. To that end, the program will provide hands-on training and experience in the business line, expose the various career opportunities in the business line and related areas, and prepare participants for positions in the business. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s degree. Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** **Preferred candidates should have course work or experience related to basic strategy principles, exhibit sound critical thinking skills, and possess knowledge of basic problem solving skills.** **Graduation date of Spring 2026** **Degree studying:** **Master of Business Administration** **Master of Management** **Master of Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Management and Organizational Leadership** **Master of Heath Administration** **Master of Public Health** **Master of Policy and Administration** **Master of Information Science or Information Systems** **Maser of Engineering Leadership and Innovation Management** **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** 1. Communicate effectively.
