As a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Intern , you’ll participate in the DEI corporate strategy, which can include programming, sponsorships, events, awards and reputational survey submissions, learning plans, and tools and resources needed to enhance capabilities and behaviors across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the daily management and process improvements for the Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) and Business Unit Councils (BUCs)Supporting the Office of DEI in the documentation of best practices and procedures in the consulting space.Develops templates, tools and processes for operational excellence using available resourcesProvide external perspectives on future enhancements.Assist with isolating key topics and creating standardized templates for the Office of DEI presentations.Collects external industry data analyses to inform strategy planning and contribute to execution plansEngage with external partners to identify research and white papers to share across the HR community and key business partners.Provides research and analyses of optimal practices and benchmarkingSupports communication activities to the ARGs and BUC councils in addition to external sponsorship and partnership needsParticipates in professional development opportunities to gain further understanding of DEI to remain abreast of emerging trends/issues, ideas and standard methodologiesMay perform other responsibilities as assigned.Please Note: This internship will only support those that are local to Columbus, Ohio as this is a hybrid position. Housing will not be provided.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Pursuing undergraduate degree in human resources, communication, multicultural studies, business administration or related field.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: The ability to function in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects at the same time. Interest in corporate DEI strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for contact with upper management. Proven advanced analytical skills.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
