Role Overview: Iowa PBS is seeking an exceptional Summer 2025 Education intern within our education division. As an education intern, you'll work with Iowa PBS educators, early childhood specialists and education producers. You'll plan and attend events in libraries, schools, early childhood centers and farmer’s markets. The goal of this internship is to empower you to: Planning engagement opportunities: Assist in planning and executing events across the state of Iowa, to promote PBS Kids and Iowa PBS educational materials. Communication Skills:Develop effective communication skills for conveying brand messages to a variety of audiences. Education Production:Work alongside our education producer to craft compelling educational narratives, for PBS LearningMedia that educates and inspires. Team Collaboration:Work closely with a diverse team of professionals, refining your collaboration, communication, and project management skills. Partner Engagement:Gain insights into engagement strategies, helping you understand how to connect with partners and families on a more meaningful level.
