Summary:
The Titleist Golf Gear organization is offering a unique opportunity for an MBA candidate to support the Strategic Planning and Leadership Team in assessing some of the organization’s most pressing business challenges and opportunities. Over the course of the10-week internship, the candidate will engage with cross functional and regional leadership, and be expected to:
Own and deliver a key market research project on one of our strategic priorities that is to be presented to members of the Acushnet Leadership Team at the end of the internship (project to be defined prior to start date) Aid in the development of the 5-year Global Strategic Plan (GSP) that defines the strategic priorities and initiatives that enable the organization to achieve its long-term financial goals. Support Strategic Planning day-to-day activities of managing and driving key cross-functional & global growth Initiatives Assess and propose enhancements to Golf Gear reporting metrics, materials and processes. These will include the likes of global market size models, sales reports, financial forecasts, operating process, competitive research, etc.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, corporate finance, CPG/retail Planning, or related fields. Must be enrolled in a Master of Business of Administration academic program Established ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, communicate findings across business functions and global markets, and catalyze action against research & analysis. Superior project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, manage multiple projects at once, and operate with a high degree of ambiguity. Advanced Microsoft Excel financial modeling, planning/forecasting skills, and Microsoft PowerPoint presentation preparation experience. Experience in applying strategic problem structuring and solving frameworks. Vigorous attention to detail and follow up Entrepreneurial mindset with an eagerness to learn and determination to succeed. Experience and/or knowledge of digital commerce is a plus Experience /Exposure to Golf is a plusLocation/Hours:
Acushnet Company is located in Fairhaven, MA (car travel required) Hybrid work environment permitted with an expectation of being in office two days per week. 8a – 5p, Monday – Friday
