Summer 2025 Intern - Small Modular Reactor (SMR) & Energy Policy Analyst

**Responsibilities**
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our team focusing on small modular reactor technology and energy utilization. This position offers hands-on experience in analyzing the regulatory landscape, market dynamics, and policy frameworks surrounding SMR development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct research on SMR technology developments, state and Federal regulatory frameworks, and policy initiatives
+ Assist in stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies
+ Prepare reports and presentations on energy policy developments
+ Track legislative and regulatory changes affecting the nuclear energy sector
**Required Qualifications**
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Physics, Energy Policy, Public Policy, Economics, or related field with a 3.3 GPA
+ US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
+ Strong analytical and research skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Previous coursework in nuclear engineering or energy policy
+ Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
+ Knowledge of current energy policy landscape
+ Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the energy sector
+ Basic understanding of energy markets and nuclear technology

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
**Posted Salary Range**
USD $23.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.
