Summary:
This Bridgewater, NJ based Intern Supply Chain Planner position will support the supply chain planning process for the US product portfolio. This individual will support the Sales & Operations Planning process and function in an exception-based planning environment. They will assist with product launch, continuity of supply, and life-cycle changes while optimizing inventory/asset management, safety stock management with a goal to ensure 100% Customer Service.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Supports the Monthly Supply Chain Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)/ Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Reviews with cross functional meetings to ensure that sales forecasting is effectively developed for US marketed products within the defined areas of product scope.
Assists with Operational Launch Teams to coordinate the launch of new products or line extension activities with cross- functional team to contribute value to patients, maximize business and organizational effectiveness throughout the supply chain.
Manage Demand Replenishment Planning (DRP) for the relevant US distribution sites with a goal to ensure 100% customer service. Developing contingency scenarios and plans and gaining organizational consensus to meet ever changing market and manufacturing site needs.
Ensure Kinaxis forecast and supply is updated regularly and validate and approve demand plan. Populate demand transmission tools with demand forecast for each material within individual scope. Manage using exception-based management techniques. Incorporate Zero Touch forecasting on foundation brands in collaboration with the Barcelona Statistical Forecast team and US forecasting team.
Manage operational forecasts that more closely reflect recent or potential market demand trends.
Maintain and improve our service level agreements with sites of manufacture, revise agreements as needed to optimize inventory/asset management, manage safety stocks and provide KPI reporting by brand. Drives inventory management adherence of assigned products to agreed inventory levels and provide regular estimates and forecasts of planned inventory levels to achieve yearly targets.
Perform Supply Chain Demand Planning Analytics to ensure SPA/ MAPE metrics are being met and reports are generated to ensure Global alignment
Manage supply chain (end to end) to customers, to improve and simplify supply chain processes, evaluate and drive savings opportunities, leverage network relationships, ensuring active engagement and innovation within the organization.
Acts as a liaison, interact, facilitate and network between all levels of management, across multiple organizations/functions, both domestic and international, for assigned products to drive supply chain management for products within defined scope.
Collaboration, teamwork and communication skills are critical to facilitate and network at all levels of management.
Negotiate with stakeholders to gain consensus during challenging supply chain situations for optimal outcome to maintain coverage to the US Market.
Manage within Sanofi Compliance standards for all processes and activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
About you
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain from an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2026
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40 hrs./week for the full duration of the internship/Co-Op
Must have permanent US work authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the supply chain / manufacturing industry
Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes
Solid understanding of the commercial drug supply chain from raw material suppliers through distribution
Understanding of manufacturing finances and processes and ability to apply to supply chain management and changes and improvement projects
Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements
Skilled in scenario planning, risk / benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving
Strong willingness to drive change as well as good internal marketing and communication skills
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to motivate and influence resources that do not report directly to incumbent
Systems (SAP and Kinaxis) and project management skills and basic understanding of financial function
Demonstrated high standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment
Strong team facilitation and relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to anticipate future consequences of scenarios and identify mission critical issues
