Summer 2025 Maintenance/Engineering Intern

**Job Description**
**Primary Duties / Responsibilities:**
+ Organize, prepare, and implement planned and emergency maintenance work activities for the department.
+ Generate and schedule maintenance work orders, track department objectives, and generate reports and analysis.
+ Assist the Plant Engineer as required and interact with the production department and maintenance team.
+ Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a higher level of safety.
+ Inventory control of parts and ordering assistance.
+ Advise or interpret information for operations and maintenance personnel and provide feedback in the form of metrics, effectiveness, and efficiency.
+ Exchange information with supervisors, distributors, equipment manufacturers and vendors or contractors
+ In coordination with Plant Engineer, guide maintenance personnel in planned and unplanned work activities.
+ Assign work to Maintenance Technicians and follow up to ensure that the work was completed.
**Requirements**
The qualified candidate will be a junior or senior in the fall of 2025 with a degree focus in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental)
