What is the opportunity?
RBC is hiring for an exciting Data Analyst (Co-op), CRM Data Enablement & Reporting role. In this role you will report into the Senior Manager, CRM Data Enablement & Reporting and collaborate with Channel partners and Marketing leads across Personal Banking and Commercial Banking platforms to help drive business decisions by assisting in the development of self-serve reporting solutions.
What will you do?
Develop CRM and campaign reports using Tableau and programming languages such as SQL, SAS and Python required for Canadian Banking and Insurance to meet business and financial imperativesParticipate in requirement and campaign design meetings to identify success criteria and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measurementWork with CRM Data Enablement & Reporting team members on report automation and streamline existing reporting processesExplore and integrate Google Analytics data via tools such as Starburst Trino to new and existing campaign dashboards to measure effectiveness of RBC’s online and mobile channels.Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure reporting is developed accurately and on timeRegular maintenance of web based report repository to ensure report and dashboard links are updated and new contents are uploadedWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Working towards a degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science/Math/Statistics)Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Data StudioTechnical knowledge on SQL or SAS or Python (Enterprise Guide/SAS Studio/Jupyter Notebook)Strong business acumen and analytical, communication and presentation skillsExceptional problem solving skills and ability to conceptualize strategyAttention to detail, organization, ability to multi task and time management is criticalNice-to-have:
Relevant experience in marketing or financial reportingExperience in financial services industry with broad understanding of marketing, product management, sales, finance, pricing and risk managementWhat’s in it for you?
