We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in Washington, DC as Asset Management Summer (2025) Analysts. Our intern program lasts 8 weeks and includes many exciting training and development opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:You will be exposed to the following skills:Net effective rent analysisPortfolio performance tracking and reportingFinancial modeling using Argus and ExcelAsset valuationsDevelopment pro-formasTenant and asset toursMarket research and analysis

Training and development opportunities:MentorshipAsset toursNetworking and industry eventsExcel modeling trainingPresentation skills training

Responsibilities: Financial modeling and analysis for lease transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, and/or development pro-formasMarket and general economic researchWritten materials for memos and presentationsTrack portfolio performance and analyze the impact of new leases or transactionsResearch credit profiles, investment strategies and business models of existing and potential tenantsTenant presentations and property toursCompile and coordinate leasing activity and building status reporting activitiesLeasing and tenant reports for Investor and Senior Management presentationsAssist in the analysis and comparison of property operating expensesTour assets alongside senior colleagues

Your Qualifications:Rising senior working towards a Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum GPA of 3.0Demonstrated interest in real estateAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional developmentAbility to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlinesCandidate should be enthusiastic and motivated to succeed in a team environment
