As Jackson’s largest venue, Snow King Resort Hotel offers over 20,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor function space. Featuring 203 guest rooms and vacation luxury condo rentals. Overview The Banquet Houseman is responsible for the set up, tear down and maintenance of all meeting rooms. Position Description & Job Responsibilities Set Up Meeting areas Assembles and arranges conference equipment in conference rooms per client needs. Disassemble meeting rooms at appropriate break down times Attend to any requests by guests. Maintain conference equipment Perform minor maintenance on conference equipment Inventory of equipment Ensure storage areas are clean and organized Ensure cleanliness of entire meeting areas, dusting, vacuuming and furniture placement. Polishes all brass sign displays and stairway handrails. Dusts all pictures and furniture. Checks and cleans all public restrooms replacing supplies as needed. Maintains a neat appearance of equipment at all times. Report all maintenance needs and special cleaning needs. Return all lost and found articles to Housekeeping Office. Provide assistance in other areas as needed Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Perform all duties in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies. Qualifications Able to reach overhead, bend, twist and kneel Able to lift heavy objects Pleasant personality. Excellent communication skills.
