ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Determine staffing requirementsHire and train new staffSupervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policySet employee goals and objectivesDevelop the Boating is Fun lesson plans and staff trainingProvide personal guidance to campers, counselors by leading by example, leadership and compassion.Be involved with all camp activities and meetingsBe alert to the health and safety of all campers and staffAnswer camp emails, phones and other questions as directedMaintain positive relationships with parents making an effort to communicated with them multiple times during the weekOther duties as required by your Manager and Site LeadSKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalentKnowledge of business and management principles and practicesProficient in relevant software applicationsCustomer Service skillsIntermediate knowledge of boating such as kayaking, sailing, etc.2 weeks of full time administrative experience in an organized camp or related programMust be at least 21 years of age8 weeks of full time experience working with 6-15 year oldsUSSailing, ACA Certifications preferred.Basic proficiency in speaking Spanish, Portuguese (and/or Hindi forMA locations only) preferred.WSI Instructor or Lifeguard trainer preferredCPR/First Aid Trainer preferredREQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
