Position Overview:
Validate the functional ingredient & flavor systems impact, stability in one test beverage format, application & summarize the results, outcome.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

Validate the functional ingredient use in one ‘test’ beverage format. Develop DOE with key critical attributes and evaluate the hypothesis in the ‘test’ beverage.Study the stability and analytical parameters for the beverage.Identify the key category and competitive samples similar to the study product & the beverage characteristics.Evaluate the flavors and impacts for the beverage and range of applications.Evaluate the processing, heating, acidification, mixing processes & impacts.Present findings at conclusion of internship.

Education Requirements:

BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology (preferred)Currently pursuing a graduate degree (MS of PhD) in Food Science or STEM related field.

Related Work Experience:

Experience in food science and beverage preparations, measurement techniques requiredExperience with sensory and/or analytical science measurements will be preferredKnowledgeable in analyzing, evaluation, developing summary, reports.

Functional Skills:

Food science, beverage preparations, beverage processing, lab equipment usage, handling.MS Office and Presentation experience
