Student Helper must work closely with the machine operator, manufacturing supervisor, and Quality Assurance to assure that all production objectives are efficiency achieved.

Essential Duties and Tasks

Assist operator as needed to ensure that the rewind machinery is working properly and safely. Monitor the quality of the material being processed to ensure compliance to company and customer quality specifications. Seek assistance on any product quality issue during run. Responsible for wrapping/packaging of material from machine center. Perform variety of quality checks on product as outlined in job specifications. Prepare new pallets as needed for job run. Label all pallets/skids with correct labeling. Pack products neatly onto the pallets and according to customer specifications Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience 

Good verbal & written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to lift an average of 50 lbs. Eager and can-do attitude!
