Internship Program Description
Our summer internship is a ten-week program for undergraduate students who are rising seniors. It is designed to fully immerse you in the day-to-day activities of our team responsible for originating Deutsche Bank’s commercial real estate loans. The internship runs from June 2 to August 22, 2025. Based on an intern’s performance during the ten-week period and business needs, an intern may receive an offer for permanent employment with Hanover Street Capital after graduation.
Position Overview:
Support Deutsche Bank’s Commercial Real Estate (CRE) team in Los Angeles to originate loans for its conduit/large-loan commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) business, as well as for the bank’s balance sheet. The loans range across office, retail, hotel, multifamily and industrial property types.
Essential Job Functions:
Participating in all aspects of loan originationCoordinating transactions within tight timeframes, involving several groups within Deutsche Bank, borrowers, and third-party advisorsLiaising with the group’s credit risk management, securitization transaction management team and syndicate desk teams to determine capital markets execution strategiesModeling asset level cash flows using ARGUS Enterprise® and Excel®Performing market, property and sponsor due diligence (KYC)Writing internal investment summaries and credit memos. Other activities as may be assigned by your managerQualifications/ Requirements:
Demonstrable interest in real estate.A rising-senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or economics.Coursework, co-curricular activities, or experience in commercial real estate.Knowledge of commercial real estate finance and performance metrics.Strong quantitative and analytical skills.Proficiency in Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint®. Ability to work with large datasets to process and process results. Knowledge of ARGUS is a plus.Highly developed organizational and project/time-management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines.Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills under pressure.A strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and Hanover's guiding principles.A demonstrable ability to work both independently and effectively with team members in diverse groups and regions.To Apply:

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$22.50 - $25.00Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
