Summer Intern – Software Product Cybersecurity Engineer
As a software product cybersecurity engineering intern, you will be a part of a team that works collaboratively, cross-functionally, and globally with software development teams and cloud operations teams to ensure a high standard of quality, security, and data privacy across the full lifecycle of Allegion’s products and services.
What You Will Do:
Deepen your knowledge of developing software products with cybersecurity as a core componentParticipate in development discussions and consult teams on implementing cybersecurity solutions on real projectsGain firsthand experience penetration testing products that may include mobile applications, web applications, and cloud infrastructureDevelop vulnerable cloud infrastructure to facilitate hands on training of other Allegion developersPlay a role in helping teams meet security needs under the Allegion Secure Development LifecycleBe a member of a team with diverse backgrounds and coverage areas all working towards securing Allegion’s productsObtain experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with AllegionWhat You Need to Succeed:
Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline: Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Software EngineeringResiliency and ability to adapt quicklyAn inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about secure product development and the Allegion business practicesEffective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniquesA desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customersRegardless of your degree, Allegion is a great place to begin your career.
