We are recruiting a Summer Intern within our US Immunology Medical Affairs – Medical Communications Scientific Exchange (MCSE) department located in Horsham, PA. The ideal candidate will be an analytical and detail-oriented individual passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and supporting various team projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment in the practice of medical information while developing product/disease state knowledge expertise and medical writing/review skills.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with US Immunology Medical Affairs staff under the direction and mentorship of an Associate Director to support ongoing Immunology projects and company strategic initiatives in a variety of settingsAssist in various activities to support healthcare professional (HCP) needs - including, but not limited to, the development of medical information content (i.e., Scientific Responses [SRs]), conducting literature searches, and summarizing key data releases from published medical literature and congressesReview of documents for medical accuracy – conducting peer review of SRs, review of proactive slide decks for MSL use and Sales Learning Development assetsAttend copy approval committee (CAC) with MCSE team to learn about the medical reviewer process for promotional assets and assist and engage with other CAC partner reviewers when possibleManage consultations and/or potential escalations for medical information HCP requests from our Immunology Medical Information Scientific Engagement (MISE) partnersOpportunity to contribute to Medical Affairs with a project of interest with a presentation to strengthen training/presentation skillsParticipate in team meetings to discuss cross-functional project progressGain exposure to diverse functions within the broader Medical Affairs and Commercial organizations while developing collaboration and leadership skills through department initiativesImmunology Medical Affairs – Medical Communications Scientific Exchange InternshipAt JJ Innovative Medicine, we aspire to develop breakthrough treatments to transform the future of health, discovering new pathways and modalities to be in front of diseases and find cures.
