Job Summary:
This job will be a project-based position that will provide support to Marketing & Membership Director and respective teams on key projects to improve marketing & membership activities. This will be a 37.5-hour per week position from approximately mid-May until mid-August. 
Key responsibilities:

• 
  Work with marketing team to set optimize social media platform to activate social listening, target audience research, content development research, and expand data reporting and analytics
• 
  Working with membership manager to define annual chapter communications plan, chapter support collateral, chapter website materials, and establish and maintain chapter list management
• 
  In conjunction with the membership manager and marketing specialist, create marketing communications plan, email and social media content for general membership marketing as well as targeted cohorts such as student and young professionals
• 
  Other responsibilities as assigned by the director of marketing and membership to support the above outlined programs and/or ComSoc’s strategic plan

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
-          College undergraduate in Marketing, communications, or general business degree, preferably a junior or senior
-          Able to work independently with little supervision
-          Able to communicate professionally via phone and email
-          Able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
-          Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google
