Classification: Hourly Job Description: Overview: This position requires an individual with introductory level engineering experience in the manufacturing industry. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: 1. Assist Engineering Managers in continuous improvement projects. 2. Assist in manufacturing pilot batches. 3. Assist in tooling projects. 4. Assist in root cause analysis for manufacturing problems. 5. Assist in the updating of engineering documents as directed by the appropriate personnel. Nonessential Job Functions: 1. Other duties as directed by the Supervisor. Job Specifications/Skills: 1. Physical strength to lift and/or carry minimum of 50 pounds frequently. 2. Strong Interpersonal skills 3. Computer: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Auto CAD. 4. Team cooperation – maintain positive/cooperative attitude with all employees of Laticrete and customers. Minimum Educational Requirements: 1. High School diploma. 2. College Degree in Engineering currently in Progress. Chemical Engineering preferred.
