Job Summary: 
This position is responsible for day to day operations and strategic input of the assigned website(s); and any necessary email support.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the websites are current or recommend for archiving. He/She is also responsible in assisting staff, volunteers and any other parties in any projects on web related matters. The role typically reports to a Director and works day to day with MGA Information Management staff for assignments and has no direct reports. 
 
Essential Functions:

• Web Project Management:
• Using knowledge of various website applications and tools (mainly WordPress, html and PHP) to manage, maintain, administer, edit, and enhance assigned IEEE Section websites. 
• Migrate organizational unit sites to new in WordPress environment
• Create and update tutorials, documentation and how-to guides related to the websites and other web applications for staff and volunteer use.
• Install Cookie Policy scripts and classify returned data. 
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Engineering, Computer Science or other technical Student preferred

Skills & Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with desktop applications including MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with Google Mail 
• Exposure to web content management systems - WordPress preferred. 
• Prior experience maintaining and migrating web content is a plus.
