The Opportunity
The Molecular Biology team within the Analytical Development group has an opportunity for a motivated and focused undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in developing analytical methods for gene therapy products and biologics. The intern will gain practical, professional work experience in several areas of molecular biology assay development, including ddPCR, ELISA, Next generation sequencing, design of experiments, and data analysis.What You'll Be DoingAssist with the preparation of laboratory solutionsAssist in laboratory either in NGS, ELISA, or PCR based assaysExecute defined analytical experiments as per instructionsFollow appropriate SOPs and written proceduresKeep accurate records and documentation of all work performedAssist with other activities as assignedIt is imperative that REGENXBIO employees embody our core values by working collaboratively, building strong relationships and using clear communication to meet shared objectives.What We're Looking ForCurrently attending a college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related fieldDetail-oriented and technically competent with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood organizational skills with the ability to work on several assignments simultaneously$22 - $26 an hourWhy You Should Apply
