Education Required: Currently enrolled students and have complete at least two semesters of graduate work towards a M.S. PhD degree in Statistics or Biostatistics by May 2022. Ph.D. candidate preferred.

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):

The biostatistics intern will participate in statistics methodology research to support drug development under the guidance and mentorship of biostatisticians in Global Statistics & Data Science Group in BeiGene.

Essential Functions of the Internship:

The intern will conduct:

Literature reviewDevelopment of innovative statistical methods if necessaryCreating SAS macro/ R packages/R shiny for statistical analyses if applicableComputer simulations

Computer Skills:   R and (or) SAS

Other Qualifications:   

Effective oral and written communication skills.Bayesian statistics knowledge or course work preferred.R package and/or R shiny development experience preferred.

Travel:  < 10%

Pay Range:

$40.50/hr (PhD)

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
