Summer Retail Merchandiser

As a Seasonal Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods, you will become a key part of ensuring that local grocery stores have stocked shelves and can continue to supply their consumers.

Job DescriptionPay - $20-$22/hr

Job Type: Full-time seasonal work

Duration: May - September

Flex Start: Flexibility to start as soon as March!

​Territory – Orleans, MA - Dennis, MA

Schedule

Open availability is a must

Sunday- Saturday- Flexibility needed

Ability to work Weekends/Holidays

Flex start times (7:00 am - 3:30 pm; 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; 9:00 am - 5:00 pm)

You will contribute by:

Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory

Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product

Packing out grocery orders when needed

Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly

Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves

Remaining accountable for completion of work by assigned due dates

Store: Store Temperature about 65F to 75F

Travel/Mobility: Yes on the road

We’re searching for candidates with:

Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.

Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs

Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service

Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations

Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instruction
