Position Objective:

The Conference Center A/V Technician is responsible for overseeing the multimedia and graphical presentation aspects of auditorium services, assisting speakers and bands to provide the technical necessities to run a program smoothly for guests and provides general hospitality to conferees in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. 

  General Qualifications:

The A/V Technician is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work, stewardship, relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association, Inc.’s (“MHA”) mission, vision and beliefs.  They are responsible for defining, cultivating and leading MHA’s Christian community, conference programs, and retreats. 

 

Key Job Accountabilities:

Gather, import, organize, edit, and format graphical media to include worship song lyrics, speaker presentations, videos, and announcement slides using Renewed Vision ProPresenter 7, Apple Keynote, and Microsoft Powerpoint. Basic operation of video switching equipment to control and optimize content display. Operate multimedia cue software for audio/video/lighting cues during sessions. Interface with musicians and speakers to meet their media needs using both audience and stage displays. Organize and implement offerings and distribution of printed material to conferees. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
