We are now looking for a Summer Trainee to join our FEA (Finite Element Analysis) & Simulation team in Tampere, Finland. As a Summer Trainee, you will participate in various product development tasks and projects and work together with various engineering and R&D teams.

 

As a Summer Trainee – FEA & Simulations, you will:​ 

 

Build FEA models and analyze various Metso machines and structures, assess strength and fatigue with support from the team Work together with various engineering teams in product development tasks; validate, design or suggest solutions to problems Participate in tool & method development tasks and measurement analysis
 

 

Who you are

 

A higher degree study background in for example Mechanical engineering or another suitable field Positive attitude and great work ethic, eagerness to learn more A development-oriented and innovative mindset, you enjoy solving problems Ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks You can communicate fluently in Finnish or English (or both)

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

 

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
