As a Summer Trainee in the Labour and repair Services team for Flotation, based in Espoo, you will:​

 

Support in new service product development for flotation equipment repair services, including e.g. defining service contents and mapping service potential from installed base. Mechanical engineering tasks for product lifecycle management including e.g. identifying product model differences and analyzing repairability. Creation of spare part packages for repair services. Participate in improving the global procedures e.g. defining where certain services are in portfolio and how services are offered and delivered to the client. Some of the tasks can be defined based on your previous experience and interests.

 


Who you are

 

An ongoing Bachelor´s or Master´s degree studies in Engineering related to machine design, product development, solid mechanics or similar. Experience in reading technical drawings is required and 3D modeling skills are seen beneficial. A positive can-do attitude and eagerness to learn more. Combined technical and business mindset. Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively . Good communication skills in spoken and written English.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

 

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
