Job Summary
The Supervisor, Admissions is responsible for the supervision of the registration staff and day-to-day coordination of the department. This role provides informational support and evaluation of regulations, procedures or practices of the registration associates. Responsible for coordinating the quality assurance program. Manages employee work schedule. Coordinates clerical functions associated with the department. Represents the facility as the focal point for all initial communication.

Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED required Associate Degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred or Technical School in healthcare administration or related field preferred 2-4 years registration/insurance verification experience in an acute care or specialty hospital setting required 2-4 years of experience in a healthcare admissions or patient services role required 0-1 years One year supervisory experience in an acute care or specialty hospital registration/insurance verification setting preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer service background Willingness to exercise judgment and independence Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High level of proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, registration software, and Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite.
