About The Position The Superintendent Electric Operations is responsible for the overall operation of the division’s electric business. This includes the direct supervision of Construction Supervisors- Electric, oversight of safety programs, compliance with collective bargaining agreements, electric operating budget responsibilities and management of personnel issues. Key responsibilities include: Supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel engaged in construction, operations and maintenance activities for the electric distribution systems in the assigned division. Direct and coordinate these activities with customers, contractors, and other company departments. Plan, schedule, and direct the activities of supervisors and crews to assure safe, efficient, and effective performance. Evaluate and prioritize work to fully utilize personnel to maintain optimum customer satisfaction and service while meeting high efficiency, productivity, and safety standards. Assist in preparation and implementation of function and department goals, motivate crews through their supervisors, and monitor progress toward achievement. Participate in community organizations and activities. Assist in planning and execution of budgets. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University preferred. Ten or more years of relevant experience (e.g., electric distribution engineering, electric distribution construction, electric operations) required. Four or more years of previous supervisory experience or high- level team/ project leadership experience required. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Knowledge of specific Ameren applications preferred (e.g., OAS, DOJM etc). Basic knowledge of budgeting systems also preferred. Additional Information Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. **Compensation Range:** $128,700.00 - $199,500.00 At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered.
