Compensation :
Salary Range (Grade D/594): $93,473- $ 132,672.
UTLO Rate: $139,396
Responsibilities :
The selected candidate is responsible for managing structure and/or lighting maintenance, repair and rehabilitation operations as they impact the physical integrity of NYC Transit stations and facilities. This includes correcting all nonconformities and outstanding work orders which may involve electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural elements of stations, employee facilities and repair shops. The selected candidate will manage initiatives across their location to improve operations, structural integrity, electrical functions, and cosmetic appearance of stations and employee facility rooms. The individual will interface with other managers within and outside the division to ensure safety protocols and procedures and manage maintenance shop administrative functions.
Education and Experience :
1. A High School Diploma and Five (5) years of full-time related experience and three (3) years must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity; or; - OR -
2. A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.
Desired Skills :
+ Strong Knowledge of MTA NYCT rules and regulations
+ Strong Station Maintenance and Operating experience
+ Knowledge of construction trade, project management and maintenance management techniques
+ Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficient in EAM/Infor, Microsoft Outlook 365 applications
Selection Method:
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
