**Job Description**

In our continuous journey of growth and innovation within the Maritime Team here at Carnival UK, we are seeking admin support for our ISM team bring fresh insights and expertise to our department.
**Role Overview**
The role holder will provide vital administrative support to the ISM Team, helping ensure the efficient management of ISM processes at CUK. They will assist in coordinating and tracking audit and investigation actions to facilitate timely resolution and closure.
The role holder will play a key role in managing and maintaining databases, ensuring that audit findings, non-conformances, and investigation actions are accurately recorded and tracked. They will also provide essential support in identifying any changes to legislation and ABG processes that may affect compliance, helping to flag these changes for action when necessary.
The role includes offering administrative support for the implementation of the new Management System, assisting with the coordination of meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining clear communication between relevant stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
+ Supporting the ISM Team in maintaining compliance through administrative tasks and process management.
+ Assisting in the coordination of the project work, ensuring CUK requirements are effectively captured and incorporated.
+ Administering the tracking and resolution of audit findings, non-conformances, and investigation actions, including updating databases
+ Compiling and providing reports for senior management, including Audit, Non-Conformance, and other relevant updates.
+ Liaising with CUK Ship and Shore Management to monitor and update management action plans and ensure the timely closure of audit/inspection items.
+ Supporting the preparation and organisation of Audit Review Committee (ARC) meetings, ensuring all necessary materials and reports are prepared.
+ Assisting in the review and maintenance of ISM-related content, ensuring all tasks are tracked and actioned appropriately.
+ Supporting process improvements within the management system or other business areas by identifying areas of inefficiency and working with the team to implement solutions.
+ Coordinating ship visits
This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and administrative skills who can support a dynamic team in managing critical processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organization and is available on a full-time , 8 month fixed term basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to work with, provide advice to, train, and promote excellence in Occupational Health and Safety and ISM Compliance
+ Experience of working with senior management
+ The ability to organise and prioritise workload
+ A flexible approach to working hours
**Knowledge/ Experience – desirable:**
+ Understanding of the ISM Code and its application
+ Understanding of a Safety Management System (SMS) as detailed by the ISM Code.
