Superintendent – Commercial / Residential Construction (Steel / Woodframe) – Calgary, AB

Our client, a leading employee-owned construction company, is seeking a Superintendent for their growing portfolio of multi-family and commercial construction projects in Calgary, Alberta.
Responsibilities:Continuously monitor project budget and forecasting to the individual phase code level and cost type for potential gains and lossesProvide leadership and direction for all project activities and tasks, ensuring project outcomes are delivered successfully and in compliance with all contracts and client needsEnsure clear communication of project-specific roles and responsibilities for all site personnel. Provide regular and respectful feedback for all under your directionMonitor company equipment and supplies to ensure the needed equipment is where it’s required.Inspect tools and equipment and notify the Tools and Equipment Manager for service and repair as neededQualifications:Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experienceTechnical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification are considered assetsTen or more years experience in commercial construction for a large general contractorTen or more years experience as a superintendent for a large general contractorExperience with Multi-Family construction (wood, steelframe assets)
