The primary responsibility of this position is to provide on-site supervision, running day-to-day operations, including subcontractor coordination. They will be responsible for the overall coordination and completion of the project, ensuring all safety, quality, and health standards and schedules are met.
As a full-time Commercial Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee phases of a construction project from construction kick-off to completion and turnover to ensure compliance with the project schedule. Maintain a variety of logs and records related to work assignments and inspection activities.Conducts a daily log of all work performed on the site and in Procore, to include photos of the site. Responsible for supervision of all workers onsite, to include the foreman who is also responsible for his or her employees. Performs daily safety audit of the project site, documenting results and ensuring deficiencies are corrected immediately. Conduct preconstruction meetings with each trade contractor prior to beginning work. Inspect all phases of construction work to ensure construction is completed in compliance with the plans, standards, specifications, special requirements, codes and regulations. Your role will focus on problem solving, providing direction to multiple subcontractors regarding procedures, clarifications, labor and equipment schedules and other appropriate matters. You’ll communicate regularly with your Construction Project Manager and will utilize ProCore software for project management.
