Job Title: Traveling Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee and manage design-build and bid-build projects on sports complex facilities. The position involves coordinating and supervising multiple projects across various locations, including Salina, KS, Bowling Green, NE, and Westminster, SC. Projects include building and upgrading sports fields, locker rooms, field houses, and building concessions/restrooms with a duration of approximately six months for each project starting from January to March. Responsibilities + Provide coordination and supervision of design-build and bid-build projects on sports complex facilities. + Collaborate with clients, design team, and contractors to ensure project success. + Build and maintain a jobsite culture of 'Safety First'. + Implement Quality Control and Quality Assurance measures. + Manage daily coordination and logistics of subcontractors and jobsite activities. + Collect, review, and submit shop drawings, product data, and test reports. + Develop and update construction schedules and 'look ahead' schedules. + Review estimates with the operations team to ensure logistical and site considerations are included. + Author and execute Methods of Procedures (MOPs). + Complete daily and weekly reports and maintain a photo journal of progress. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience as a site superintendent on ground-up vertical projects as a prime or general contractor. + Experience in hospitality, K-12, or commercial construction projects. + Understanding and supervision of civil scope on construction projects (streets, parking, retaining walls, utilities, etc.). + Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam or similar software. + OSHA 30 certification. + Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in sports construction is highly preferred. Work Environment This position requires travel to various project sites, with mileage reimbursement and a daily per diem for meals. Housing will be provided in hotels. A company truck is available.
