**Job Title: Construction Superintendent** **Job Description** Front-line supervision for all project personnel and phases of construction, including quality control, scheduling, customer relations, and promoting teamwork with Project Manager, Engineers, City Officials, Inspectors, Safety Officials, Subcontractors, and company personnel. Ensure work performed reflects the plans and specifications outlined for the project within desired time frames and standards set by the Company and the Project Manager. **Responsibilities** + Act as the primary on-site representative of the company on construction matters. + Maintain communication with clients to establish construction start dates and provide project updates. + Motivate and effectively accomplish tasks through delegation to maximize production and minimize downtime. + Determine days and labor needed for installation schedules, and work with the Project Manager on per-project schedules. + Ensure the installation crew has all documents and site access for installations. + Assign personnel to projects and confirm their installation schedules. + Create and manage a 2-month look-ahead schedule for all installation crews. + Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and work with suppliers to quote and coordinate material deliveries. + Manage on-site trade partners, vendors, and material suppliers to maintain high expectations for subcontractors’ work performance. + Act as the direct point of contact with city inspectors to schedule and attend inspections. + Schedule project commissioning and ensure projects have been tested, as-built drawings recorded, and receive sign-off from clients. + Evaluate work required for service calls and coordinate with customers on repair timing, cost, and service technicians. + Identify and schedule additional education and on-the-job training for the installation crew. + Document safety incidents, manage disciplinary actions, and perform formal annual reviews with installation personnel. + Verify and approve installation personnel’s work hours. + Ensure all installation personnel have proper PPE and tools. + Document each project’s progress with daily logs to the Project Manager. + Assist the Project Manager with pre-construction and weekly construction meetings. + Help with construction tasks as needed and required. + Report to the Director of Operations. **Essential Skills** + Construction management + Safety Documentation + Quality Control **Why Work Here?** Benefits are offered once direct with the client.
