Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage the construction efforts of various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring project goals are met, maintaining an orderly and safe construction site, and communicating effectively with clients and team members.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise the total construction effort to meet project goalsManage an orderly and safe construction siteReview plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design intentCommunicate with clients, architects, building inspectors, and othersCoordinate and supervise means and methods of constructionPlan, arrange, and coordinate subcontractor schedule and activitiesPrepare daily job reports documenting construction site activityParticipate in weekly project meetingsEnsure compliance with all safety program requirementsEssential SkillsConstruction supervisory experience with architectural, structural, and/or MEP systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints with a strong technical knowledge of construction assembliesDetail-oriented and organized with strong time management skillsTeam player with effective communication skillsProfessional and competent written and oral communication skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction management, commercial construction, and general contractingSubcontractor management and fit-out experienceConstruction supervision experience, particularly with lab and retail constructionCSL (Construction Supervisor License) is highly preferredExperience with lab construction is a plusRetail fit-out experience is a mustWork Environment
The work environment is primarily on-site, with some opportunities to work from home. Office visits will be rare.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.86 - $52.90
