Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with over 8 years of new construction experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will supervise subcontractors on-site, ensure safety and quality control, and manage daily production reports. This role demands a proactive individual capable of maintaining high safety standards and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule while adhering to contract requirements.
ResponsibilitiesProvide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors.Monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance.Manage subcontractor Daily Production Reports.Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager.Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control at construction locations.Assist subcontractors with Federal procedures and rules.Ensure contractors complete work on schedule while fulfilling warranty issues.Communicate daily status of current projects to the Project Manager to ensure all projects are timely and within company standards.Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all mandatory/regulatory requirements.Take necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.Report and address all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly.Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications.Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken to eliminate or minimize recurrence of problems.Conduct pre-final inspections, establish a punch list if required, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected.Submit as-builts on finished projects.Essential Skills8+ years of new construction Superintendent experience.Experience in commercial construction.Expertise in construction supervision.Proficiency in construction management.Skill in subcontractor management.Knowledge of quality control.Familiarity with site construction.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in reviewing construction plans and specifications.Work Environment
You will work on-site at various construction locations. The role requires wearing appropriate safety attire and adhering to strict safety standards. The environment is dynamic and may involve working in different weather conditions. Regular communication with the Project Manager and subcontractors is essential to ensure project timelines and standards are met.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $52.88
