Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and their sub-contractors. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule and maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents. You will act as the primary safety representative in the field and enforce quality control policies. This role requires regular communication with the Project Team and Trade Contractors to manage jobsite logistics and oversee project quality plans.

ResponsibilitiesDirect the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and their sub-contractors to ensure high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule.Develop, document, and communicate the work plan regarding changes made in the field.Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to anticipate potential problems before they arise.Obtain or verify that subcontractors obtain all necessary permits for construction purposes.Act as the primary safety representative in the field and enforce quality control policies.Establish credibility among owners, trade contractors, unions, etc., by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment.Lead contractor meetings on a regular basis.Maintain daily reports and documentation using Procore.Create, manage, and update the project schedule, and implement contingency plans when necessary.Communicate schedule status, updates, and changes to the Project Team and Trade Contractors.Plan, coordinate, and manage jobsite logistics.Oversee project quality plan and implement necessary changes.Essential SkillsSubcontractor managementVertical constructionProject managementGeneral contractorConstruction safetyAdditional Skills & QualificationsProfile 1: 2-5 years of experience as Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent, General Commercial Construction Experience, Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, OSHA 10 certification.Profile 2: 10-15 years of experience as Superintendent, Commercial projects over 5 million dollars, Healthcare project experience (specifically hospitals, ER/OR rooms), Higher Education project experience if no hospital project work, strong tenure (3+ years at nearly all firms), High School diploma, OSHA 10 certification, Procore experience, Construction supervision, Safety.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.07/hr.
