Commercial Construction Superintendent in Omaha

Job Description

Are you looking to run commercial, ground-up construction projects? This superintendent will first run a $6 million restaurant build in Omaha and then move on to a $40 million apartment build in Omaha as well. It's a great opportunity to upgrade your career and keep building on your experience as a superintendent.

ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibility is construction management with very little self-perform fieldwork.Directly supervise a crew of carpenters and supervise the work of trade contractors in several areas of a project.Enforce high safety standards, including maintaining a clean job site. Manage and perform weekly safety inspections.Inspect the quality of work for compliance with design standards and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.Collaboratively schedule for individual trade contractors or areas of a project to ensure milestone dates are met.Review details with architects/engineers and subcontractors to ensure work compliance with the document plan. Prepare and distribute daily reports.RequirementsExperience working as a superintendent or assistant superintendent3-4 years of experience in Commercial Construction.Experience in multifamily projects is preferred.Knowledge in carpentry.Experience with ground-up construction (Commercial).Experience managing project budgets of $8-15 million.Degree in Construction Management is strongly preferred.Proficiency in construction-related software such as Bluebeam, Timberline, and Microsoft Projects.Benefits

The Superintendent will receive full benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) and competitive pay ($60k - $120k).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
